In-House Diagnostic Lab

Our hospital has an in-house laboratory to provide you with diagnostic laboratory test results quickly and efficiently.

We offer a wide range of in-house testing and utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultation services to address your pet’s complete health care needs.

The most common types of testing offered include:

Heartworm Testing: This important test requires a small blood sample and works by detecting the presence of heartworm proteins.
Stool Analysis: Analyzing your pet’s stool can identify the presence of parasites, organisms, and bacteria.
Urine Analysis: This analysis provides information about your pet’s urinary tract and kidney function.
Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV): These diseases can be diagnosed by conducting a simple blood sample, which identifies FELV proteins in the blood and looks for the presence of FIV antibodies.
Blood Chemistry Panel,This is a series of tests that provide information about your pets internal organs and metabolic health.
Complete Blood Cell Count (CBC),The CBC reveals the number and condition of your pet’s red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Electrocardiography Services

We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Flea Control Programs

We'll develop a program for your pet's specific needs and review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house and yard.

Pharmacy

We stock pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
